英国の大手ディテイリング製品メーカーが、車の表面についたウォータースポットを取り除く新製品を、本日（2018年6月26日火曜日）発表しました。
Crystal Serum Ultraなどの代表的な表面保護製品のブランドであるGtechniq社は、雨や水道水に含まれる化学物質による車のボディワークのエッチングに対処するために、「W9ウォータースポットリムーバー」を発表しました。
Gtechniq社のManaging DirectorであるRob Earle氏は次のように述べています。”私たちは、市場で最高のウォータースポットリムーバーを開発するために、業界をリードする他のウォータースポットリムーバーと比較して、W9の開発とテストに多くの時間を費やしました」。
ウォータースポットとは、車を自然乾燥させた後に残る鉱物の乾燥した部分のことで、太陽光の下で長時間放置されると、鳥の糞のように悪影響を及ぼすことがあるため、除去するためには特別なものが必要です。
他のウォータースポットリムーバーとは異なり、W9は3つのメカニズムで除去を行います。塩分を溶かして除去します。水道水に多く含まれている金属イオンを捕捉します。そして最後に、従来は非常に除去しにくかったシリカスケールを除去します。
W9ウォータースポットリムーバーは、100％塗装に安全で、すべてのタイプの塗装やビニールに使用できます。危険性は全くなく、ウォーターマークの除去が非常に難しいガラスにも使用できます。
The UK’s leading detailing products manufacturer have launched a new product designed to eradicate water spot marks on a car’s surface, today (Tuesday 26 June 2018).
Gtechniq, the brand behind leading surface protection products such as Crystal Serum Ultra, announced W9 Water Spot Remover, in a bid to tackle etching on car bodywork from chemicals left behind in rain and hose water.
Rob Earle, managing director at Gtechniq said: “We have spent a lot of time developing and testing W9 against other industry leading water spot removers to ensure we have produced the best water spot remover on the market.”
Water spots are an area of dried mineral deposits left on car after being allowed to air dry, and if left for a long time on the surface to bake in the sunshine, can be as detrimental as bird droppings – so they need something exceptional to remove them.
Unlike other water spot removers, W9 has a three mechanism approach to removal. It dissolves and removes salts. Traps metal ions, which are commonly found in tap water. And finally, removes silica scale which is traditionally this very tough to eliminate.
W9 Water Spot Remover is 100% coating safe and works on all paint types and vinyl. It is completely non-hazardous and can be used on glass where watermarks can be exceptionally hard to remove.
