グッドウッド・フェスティバル・オブ・スピードの今年のテーマは「スピード・キング、モータースポーツ・レコード・ブレイカーズ」で、世界デビューを果たしたファースト・グランス・パドックから、FMXやMTBライダーがトリックを披露するグッドウッド・アクションスポーツ・アリーナ、レッドアローズの登場、グッドウッドでのレース活動70周年を迎えたアストンマーティン、グッドウッド・ヒルクライムで41.18秒の新記録を樹立したフォルクスワーゲンID Rまで、誰もが楽しめる内容となっていた。
ワックスストックはディテイラーにとってのパラダイスでした。Rupes、Slim’s Detailing、Clean + Shiny、AMDetailsなどの企業が素晴らしいブースを出展し、トレードディナーも忘れられないものとなりました。
このイベントに参加できなかった人は、2020年には絶対に参加すべきイベントだと思います。
Goodwood Festival of Speed’s theme this year was ‘Speed Kings, Motorsports Record Breakers’ and saw everything from the First Glance Paddock which held a world of debuts to the Goodwood Action Sport Arena where FMX and MTB riders took to the track to show off their tricks, an appearance from the Red Arrows, Aston Martin celebrated their 70th year racing at Goodwood and the Volkswagen ID R set a new Goodwood Hillclimb record of 41.18 seconds – so something for everyone!
Waxstock was a detailers paradise! Traders such as Rupes, Slim’s Detailing, Clean + Shiny and AMDetails had exceptional stands and the trade dinner was one to remember.
If you didn’t make it to either of these events, I’d say they’re both a definite must for 2020!
