本日（2019年2月20日(水)）、高性能、表面保護の大手メーカーが、ペイントプロテクションフィルム（PPF）やビニールの性能を高め、最高の状態を維持するために設計された、柔軟性のあるセラミックコーティングを発売しました。
セラミック塗装保護およびカーディテイリング製品を製造する英国のGtechniq社は、悪名高いYiannimizeカーラッパーのYianni Charalambous氏が「傑出している」と評価したこの革命的なコーティングが、大衆向けに発売されたことを発表しました。
HALOは、PPFやビニールにとって本当にありがたい製品で、化学的に結合した、超高密度でありながら柔軟性のあるフィルムです。一度貼れば、化学結合によってHALOは車のPPFやビニールの表面に長期にわたり定着し、車が日常的にさらされる要素から保護されます。

Yianni氏は、自身が日常的に使用しているランボルギーニ・アヴェンタドールSにHALOを塗布し、クローム・ターコイズ色のラッピングを施しました。HALOはその条件に完璧に合致しています！簡単に塗布でき、必要なことを正確に行うことができ、取り付けたビニールラップを傷つけることもありません。私の車は素晴らしいです。”
Gtechniq社のマネージングディレクターで製品開発を担当しているRob Earle氏は次のように述べている。”塗膜の密度と表面エネルギーの低さが、PPFやビニールの汚れや撥水性を向上させます。また、汚れの侵入によるシミを防ぎ、紫外線による黄ばみも軽減します。

Gtechniq, UK formulators of ceramic paint protection and car detailing products, announced the revolutionary coating, that has been deemed “outstanding” by the infamous Yiannimize car wrapper Yianni Charalambous, was now available to the masses.
HALO, the product that really is a blessing for PPF and vinyl, is a chemically bonding, ultra-dense, yet flexible film. Once applied, the chemical bond makes HALO the permanent surface of a vehicle’s PPF or vinyl – protecting it from the elements that a car is exposed to on a daily basis.
Celebrity car wrapper and TV supercar customiser, Yianni Charalambous, whose company Yiannimize were given exclusive access to the product pre-launch, said: “We are always on the lookout for new products that will protect as well as enhance the wraps we do for customers.”
Yianni applied HALO to his own, daily driven Lamborghini Aventador S, which is wrapped in a chrome turquoise, he added: “Halo fits the bill perfectly! It’s straight forward to apply and does exactly what we need it to, without damaging the vinyl wrap we’ve installed. My car looks outstanding.”
Rob Earle, Gtechniq managing director who heads up product development, said: “The density of the coating and its low surface energy improve dirt and water repellency of PPF or vinyl. It also helps to prevent staining from dirt ingression, as well as reducing yellowing caused by UV rays.
“It’s a win, win product that keeps the PPF looking in a much better condition and makes it much easier for people to keep their car clean following PPF application.”
Rigorous real-world and laboratory testing has proven HALO to be compatible with all types of gloss, matte, and satin vinyl and PPF. It is also proven to work on self-healing films.
